The rhymes have been adapted for this translation. This is a reprint facsimile of the first edition of 1860. Reprinted in 1974 by Bloomfield books and Publications. With illustrated silhouettes throughout, by the author. Frohlich was remembered for his drawings in German literature. Condition: In original cloth binding with title pasted to front board. Externally, excellent with just some minor shelfwear. Spine label and label to front board are faded slightly. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean throughout.
