An interesting novel set against the backdrop of nineteenth centuryAustralia and the difficultiesof life for immigrants and settlers. Condition: Rebacked in a cloth binding with theoriginal backstrip and boardswith kangaroo detail preserved. Externally, generally smart though lightly rubbed and bumped to the extremities. Spine is faded with slight loss. Internally, firmly bound. Pages mildly age toned, with tidemarks to the first and last few pages and occasional spotting throughout. Ink signature to half title. Overall: VERY GOOD.
