Edinburgh and London, William Blackwood, 1893, pp. xii, 385 plus publisher's adverts., numerous illustations, three maps including one folding. Original green cloth. There are some circular cup stains to the front cover only really noticeable in a certain light, the lower corners are a bit bumped and two leaves of the index have been rather carelessly opened, otherwise this is a clean, tight and very sound copy.
