A botanist and zoologist, Berlandier was sent to Mexico to make scientific notes and sketches of the country and his travels through Texas. Translated from the original French, his 7 volumes have been published in two volumes, totalling 692 pp, including many colored plates. The two volumes have light tan boards with brown print on spines. Both vols. are clean, bright and tight. Missing slip case.
