Sarat Chandra Das (Bengali: (1849-1917) was an Indian scholar of Tibetan language and culture most noted for his two journeys to Tibet in 1879 and in 1881- & 1882.Text is clean, tight and unmarked. Endpapers are toned and have a bookseller's sticker on the front pastedown. Rust-colored cloth boards with gold-stamped titles on front and spine are clean, bumped at spine ends with no loss of material.
