London: Frederick Westley and A.H. Davis, 1831. Set of two volumes. xxiv, 566 and viii, 568 pages. Fourteen b/w engraved plates, including the frontispieces. About half the plates have varying degrees of tanning with offsetting on the facing page. Pale foxing on the title page and frontispiece of Volume One. Rebound at some time in three-quarter calf with raised bands, gilt titling and rules on the spine. Original marbled boards (slightly rubbed). New endpapers. A lovely old set.. First Edition. Three-Quarter Leather. Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
