In publisher's dust jacket, $3.00 on front flap, light chipping to tail of spine, bright colors and vibrant illustrations. Signed by the author on the front free endpaper: "For Mr. + Mrs. William M_ / from their uncle / Charles G. Dawes / Oct 24th, 1950." Charles G. Dawes (1865-1951) was the 30th Vice President of the United States under President Calvin Coolidge and Ambassador to Great Britain under President Herbert Hoover. This was the last book published by Charles G. Dawes during his lifetime.
