Cleveland: The Arthur H. Clark Co, 1923. Cloth. Very Good. The 1923 1st thus, published by the formidable Western Americana imprint, Arthur H. Clark. Solid and VG in its navy-blue cloth, with crisp gilt-titling along the spine. Artistic bookplate of Ernest Lobaugh (so artistic in fact that this bookplate is part of Knox College's permanent bookplate colection) to the front pastedown, very faint dustiness to the panels. Light, occasional pencil (and pencil margin notes), former owner name and address (appearing twice in the preliminaries). Octavo, top-edge gilt, half a dozen illustrations thruout complementing the text.
