About This Item
Bethesda: National Institute of Neurological Diseases and Blindness, 1968. Paperback. 114 plus [10]p. index, a line map of the atoll the sole illustration. Text reproduced from keyboard-set ms. Softbound in 11x8.5 inch plain printed wraps. Faint edgewear, slight general toning with a slightly faded spine panel, very good copy: sound, clean and unmarked. Study of Child Growth and Development and Disease Patterns in Primitive Cultures. Half the text is made up of personal letters that are actually technical, as his colleagues and family and friends do what he does or are interested. Astonishingly warm man.
