Description:
J & J Harper. NY., 1832 Smallish book about 4 by 6 inches with some 337 pages plus two pages of publisher ads at the rear. Bound in thin tan cloth over boards. Covers with printed title and other information. Book No. XXXVI in the publisher Family Library series. Illustrated with three in-text images and one tissue guarded plate. An actual exciting account of early African exploration. Reading of the rigors of the trip made me wonder why anyone would attempt the travels.
