See dedication." written at top of title page. Book is dedicated to Francis S. Street & Francis S. Smith (editors and proprietors of The New York Weekly). With 100 illustrations by Thomas Nast (author) and others. Also includes a biographical introduction. Green cloth boards with gilt spine lettering and design. Rear hinge starting. Head/heel of spine and corners bumped and slightly worn. Some rubbing on boards. Otherwise clean and tight. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.

Our "staff" includes Harriet, a large, friendly white-and-calico cat, and Tucker, a knowledgeable Welsh Corgi.
