About This Item

New York, 1988. First Edition. Softcover. Near Fine. Original Typescript bound in flexible black wraps. This screenplay appeared 3 years before DiCillo's first film, JOHNNY SUEDE, which cast the then-unknown Brad Pitt and Catherine Keener in what would be their first starring roles. It received a nomination for a Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival. DiCillo also wrote and directed the 2009 documentary about The Doors, WHEN YOU'RE STRANGE, which was nominated for both an Emmy Award and a Grammy Award.
