With thirty-eight illustrations in color, and black and white, including a colored portrait of John H. B. Latrobe painted by Thomas Sully. Bound in green cloth pictorial boards with bright, gold design. Detailed description of the symbolic representation of the cover design laid in. Front top cover edge is slightly bumped, otherwise fine. Lacking dust jacket, if issued in one.
