New York: Doubleday Doran, 1928. Book. VG+. Cloth. First Edition. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. First edition, after the printing of 201 deluxe copies, so stated. Black cloth with gilted tiles to the spine. This copy is VG+ in a VG , un price clipped ( price, net, $2.50) DJ. Exterior is bright and clean with a bit of dulling to the spine and a partial dent to the front cover where a heavier book had lain on top. Inside is clear, unmarked, crisp , and tightly bound. minimal even toning throughout. DJ. has moderate chipping along the top , one closed 1/2" tear at the front top, and an oblong open tear ( 1" x 1/2" ) under the author's name on the spine, not affecting any tiles. Modest even toning to exterior of DJ..
