New York: Marchbanks Press, 1914. Hardcover. Very Good. [40] p.: illustrations; 19 cm. White paper over boards; cover title in black. Front cover illustrated in blue. One of a limited edition of 200 copies printed for the author on handmade paper by the Marchbanks Press in May 1914. In 1914 Hal Marchbanks (1877-1934) was a founding member of AIGA (the American Institute of Graphic Arts) and started the Marchbanks Press. This was the second item printed by the press. The illustrator, Jay Chambers, was a staff artist on the New York World and the father of Whittaker Chambers (1901-1961). Very scarce. In Very Good Condition: spine is sunned; cover is lightly soiled and rubbed; pages are clean and crisp.
