Red boards feature gilt text on spine plus MJ colophon and black cat with gilt eyes under title. Title page also carries MJ colophon. Printed December 1954, after the first printing in October 1950. 268 pp. Book is cocked 1/4", bottom corners slightly scuffed, spine ends lightly rubbed with slight scuffing at gutters. ffep &r rfep show rectangular(6 1/2" X 1 3/8") vertical browning. rfep has vertical diagonal crease. Unclipped (10s. 6d. net) DJ has spine ends inner tape repair, internal and external foxing, edge wear, especially the top edge. Digital images available on request. A quite rare and profound book!
