London: Phaidon. 1954 . 2nd edition. Hardback in original dustwrapper. Beautifully illustrated, with many hand-mounted colour plates, including frontispiec. Also black-and-white illustrations. Contents; some quite pronounced spotting to endpapers. Top inner page corners lightly dented/creased thoughout, but plates unaffected. Boards in good shape, with some shelf-rubbing to edge extremities. Dustwrapper: moderate+ browning, spotting, ageing. Some moderate+ edge rubbing and creasing, more pronounced in places. Some internally closed tears/chips. With larger internal repair to rear corner, with longer closed tear and creasing. A few light blemishes. Still quite well-preserved generally. Unusual to find in dustwrapper. Price-clipped. Hinges and binding tight. A sound copy. 139 pp.
