Decorative translucent booklet regarding the Janice James School, built at the foot of Mt. Tatsuda in Kumamoto City on land purchased in 1921. Describing the history of mission work in Japan, the account of the girls school, the widows home, the old-age home - accompanied by black and white photos. Includes a card intended for slipping between the pages to block the light and make it easier to read. Covers lightly soiled with crease marks. Interior light foxing.
