JAIL TO JUNGLE: Charlotte Moorman & Nan June Paik. [An original broadsheet poster promoting the Carnegie Hall Performance of "Jail to Jungle". by Moorman, Charlotte; and Paik, Nam June - 1977.

New York: New Ground Presentations, Inc., 1977., 1977.. Very good. - An original 17-1/8 inch high by 10-1/2 inch wide broadsheet printed in green and yellow on light pink stock. The text is printed in a column at the right. The bold title centered right is printed down the length of the poster. Illustrations from photographs by Peter Moore, Frank Pileggi, and Dick Preston are printed in two columns at left with an additional photograph overlapping the text at bottom right. The broadsheet is folded in half for mailing with the title additionally printed in light blue down the length of the verso with the return address and a few credits also printed on the verso. There are pinholes near the top and bottom corners of the right edge as well as minor creasing along the fold at right. A postal address label is mounted on the verso and there are remnants of tape to the center of the top and bottom of the verso's edges used for sealing the broadsheet for mailing. Very good.

The broadside advertises the Norman J. Seaman presentation of the three part performance: "Charlotte Moorman & Nam June Paik From Jail (1967) to Jungle (1977)" scheduled for "Thursday, 10 February 1977 at 8 pm", at "Carnegie Hall, New York". The performance art program included a recreation of Moorman & Paik's "Opera Sextronique", a staging of Charlotte Moorman's indecency trial for her topless cello concert, and a screening of Moorman and Paik's film "Guadalcanal: A Requiem" (1977).
