Victorian College of the Arts, Melbourne, No date. First Edition. Sewn Binding. Very Good Condition. Illustrator: Françoise Martin. not paginated (48 pages), preface by H. E .M. Patrick Henault, French Ambassador in Australia, introduction by Jean-Luc Nancy (translated by Philip Anderson) and acknowledgements. The text is illustrated with various colour and black-and-white illustrations by Francois Martin. Plain text cover with white titles to the front panel. A small book that was put out in combination by the Victorian College of the Arts and Alliance Francaise of Melbourne combining the artistic talents of Françoise Martin and the words of Jean-Luc Nancy. The artwork was done by the artist on his trip from France to Australia with a stopover in Singapore. The text is both in English and in French. Rubbing and creasing to the book corners. A few marks to the book panels. Size: Oblong 8vo - 7¾" - 9¾" tall but wider. Text is in multiple languages. Please refer to accompanying picture (s). Illustrator: Françoise Martin.
