Munchen - Georg Muller, 1912 Book. VERY GOOD INDEED. Hardcover. An edited edition of Friedrich Heinrich Jacobi's Briefe uber die Lehre Spinozas, in which he expresses sharply and clearly his strenuous objection to a dogmatic system in philosophy. Friedrich Heinrich Jacobi (1743 1819) was an influential German philosopher, literary figure, socialite and the younger brother of poet Johann Georg Jacobi. He is notable for coining the term nihilism and promoting it as the prime fault of Enlightenment thought particularly in the philosophical systems of Baruch Spinoza, Immanuel Kant, Johann Fichte and Friedrich Schelling. In German. Condition: In a half-crushed-morocco binding. Externally sound, with just some slight rubbing. Internally, firmly bound. Front hinge reinforced with cloth tape. Pages are very bright and clean. Overall: VERY GOOD INDEED..
