New York: St. Martin's Press, 1978. Hardcover. SIGNED. 339pp. Octavo [24 cm] 1/4 brown cloth with tan paper covered boards. Beige speckled endpapers. With numerous black and white photographs in the text. Very good. The edges of the covers are very slightly sunned. The spine ends and the top fore edge corner of the front cover are just a little bumped. In a very good dust jacket, with light soiling and rubbing, and a gently faded spine. From the dust jacket- "With the voices of the men and women who populate the Kerouac novels, including: William Burroughs, Carolyn Cassady, Malcolm Cowley, Allen Ginsberg, John Clellon Holmes, Gore Vidal, & others." Also includes reminiscences from Michael McClure, Robert Duncan, Gary Snyder, Philip Whalen, Peter Orlovsky, and Gregory Corso. Signed by both Barry Gifford and Lawrence Lee on the front free endsheet.
