He went from town to town in Canada and the U. S. Giving public lectures about conservation from 1910 to 1940. The Jack Miner Migratory Bird Foundation Inc. Was incorporated in the U. S. Under the philanthropic laws of Michingan in 1931, and incorporated in Canada by a special act of Parliament in 1936 .
