Ienae. Used - Good. 1847. Vol 2 1879 by the same publisher. Vol. 1 three quarters calf with marbled paper. Vols. II&III rebound together in buckram. Vols. 1 and 3 paginated in two parts, bound together. 8vo., liv 215 510; lxx 324 [vi plates] lv 223 [iv plates] 426 pp. Vol. 1 has extensive wear to calf at spine, in 5 compartments with raised bands. Azuline stamp title still visible. Marbled paper has some mild chipping to edges. All edges castaneous stain. Front hinge starting but quite sound. Sparse marginalia. Vol. 2 (containing vols. 2 & 3) ex-library with mininal markings (stamp to full title and copy-right page), otherwise in excellent condition. Faintly marbled edges. Text is clean and tight. Overall excellent reading copies, sound though unattractive. (Subject: Late Antuiquity and Early Chrisitanity.)
