New York: Knopf. NF/NF. 1976. First Edition. Hardcover; First Printing. SIGNED by author on loosely laid in personal bookplate showing her St. Charles Avenue (New Orleans) home. Near Fine+ book--clean, straight, no writing in it, unblemished red upper page edge stain, with a previous owner's name on the front end page. Near fine dustjacket (unusual with this fragile foil finish)--just a touch of edgewear to spine ends, one short completely closed edge tear upper back edge, price clipped, and small fold line to back flap but none of the usual chipping off of the foil, none of the normal rubbing or creasing, and no fading to red lettering. Lovely! This one needs no story synopsis. Made into a movie starring Tom Cruise.; Signed by Author .
