Black coloured cloth covered boards with gilt coloured titles to the back strip. Photographic dustwrapper (wraparound) with purple, black and white coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. Black-and-white photograph of the author to the rear fold over panel. In this study, the author looks at the formation of First International – with the formation of the International Working Men's Association in London in 1864, and, how Soviet Russia's foreign policy has been founded on the revolutionary movement of workers aimed at Western democracies from this beginning. "How this came about is described and analysed in this fully documented study by Dr. Gunther Nollau, the first present a complete picture of the movement as a whole from its beginnings under Marx and Engels to Khrushchev and Mao Tse Tung." -- from the front fold over panel blurb. Translation by Victor Andersen. Sunning of the back strip with browning to the verso of the dustwrapper along with scattered foxing.
