Instruction in Cookery – Book of Receipts.

Condition: See description

School Board for London - School Management Department. No date (circa 1888).. Hardback.. Poor condition, but utterly charming: A newpaper photograph of Baroness Burdett-Coutts is pasted to the FFEP, with a note that she presented the volume as as school prize. The book is very well worn, with tape holding the text block to the covers. An envelope is attached to the rear cover, and filled with period recipes. The whole is a marvellous testament to the cooking career of some young person!
