London: The London Illustrated News. Good. 1912. Single sheet. CONDITION: This vintage print is in good condition, it has creases from being folded into quarters to originally fit in the magazine. The center crease lengthwise has been repaired. There is a repaired tear to the top half an inch to the right of the crease, 4 inches in length, and another to the left of the crease, 5 inches in length. Both tears have been repaired on the reverse with archival document tape, a non-yellowing acid free tape made for repairing paper. A smal tear to the right edge, and light general wear. 22 by 32 Inches. Print. ; This 99 year old print was the supplement to the weekly periodicalfor oct 5th 1912 . Drawn by Norman Wilkinson, the caption at the bottom reads: "To Be Kept in Full Commission and Immediately Available at All Seasons of the Year: 'Nearly Four-Fifths of the Entire German Navy'" . The print has a numbered diagram at the bottom with a list of the 42 ships shown in the print. A great Naval and vinyage military poster size print. A very scarce item and a nice piece of pre-world war one nautical history. ; Norman Wilkinson .
