Not quite continuous run of 35 issues of this important German literary magazine which functioned as Germany's Insel-Verlag (Island Publishing) house organ. List of individual issues is as follows: 1924- Ostern & Herbst. 1925-Ostern, Sommer, Herbst & 4 Dezember 1925 [zum funfzigsten gerburstag Rainer Maria Rilkes- for Rainer Ma-ria Rilkes 50th birthday]. 1926-Ostern, Sommer, Herbst & Weihnacten. 1927-April 1927 (Rilke again), Sommer, Herbst & Weihnacten. 1928-Fruhling, Sommer, Herbst & Weihnacten. 1929-Fruhling, Sommer, Herbst. 1930-Fruhling, Sommer & Weihnacten. 1931-Fruhling, Sommer, Herbst & Weihnacten. 1932-Fruhling, Sommer, Herbst & Weihnacten. 1933-Fruhjahr, Sommer, Herbst. The condition of the majority of these issues is between Very Good+ and Near Fine, with the exception of two, the Fall 1926 issue is perished at the spine with the rear cover and last few pages detached and the Winter 1928 issue is perished at the spine though covers are not detached. Otherwise these issues show minor toning and finger soiling but are in remarkably nice shape. A very nice run of an important German literary magazine with a list of contributors that includes many of the great minds of the time.
