There are some chips to the glassine covers, but they have preserved their purpose of protecting the decorated boards and cloth spine with bright gilt lettering. ; A Rare set, 2 volumes, in Near Fine condition. Limited edition, number #138 out of 1500 signed by the illustrator. Glassine covers for both volumes. Slipcase is in Very Good condition - some minor shelf wear, intact, with paper label on spine and #138 at bottom. Tissue guards for each plate. Deckled pages. A heavy set.
