The First UK Printing published by Dent in 1980.The BOOK is in near FINE condition.Very mild pushing to the spine ends.Gilt titling remains bright.Light toning to the text block.Small neat penned number to the upper rear end paper.The WRAPPER is complete and is in near FINE condition.Very light creasing to the upper spine tip.Mild rub to the upper corners.The wrapper looks very attractive in the removable Brodart archival cover.The book has been inscribed and Signed by the author to the front blank end paper:' To Adrienne, Best wishes, Lynne Reid Banks'.Wonderful B/W illustrations throughout by Robin Jacques.The first title in the highly acclaimed series which was successfully adapted into a movie.A very scarce title and at the time of listing,the only available copy on the market. Synopsis

The Indian in the Cupboard is a children's book written by British author Lynne Reid Banks, and illustrated by Brock Colein 1980. It has received numerous awards, and was made into a film in 1995. The book was followed by four sequels: The Return of the Indian (1985), The Secret of the Indian (1989), The Mystery of the Cupboard (1992), and The Key to the Indian (1998). All were published by Doubleday Books in hardcover, then by Avon Books, now HarperCollins, in paperback.
