Cover corners are bumped and rubbed, edges rubbed, some scuffing to cover faces. Lettering on spine is faded, spine ends are bent and fraying. Gilt top page edge. Writing on front inside cover, and previous owner's name and date written on front free endpaper. Interior is tight and clean. Book in VG condition.. Cloth. Very Good. Size: Approx. 5 1/2" x 8 1/4". Fiction.

Cracks to guttering throughout, with exposed netting. Noticeable tanning to rough-cut text block edges. Heavy tanning to free endpapers with inscriptions to front. Boards have moderate shelf wear, with rubbing and marking. Moderate bumping to corners and crushing to spine ends, causing cloth to fray. Boards are slightly bowed and tanned. Small split to front joint.

More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Pen inscription to front free endpaper. Moderate cracking to gutters exposing netting and causing some looseness to binding but pages remain attached. Boards have moderate corner bumping and edge-wear with visible tanning,water staining and scuffing overall. Spine has very heavy tanning with soft chipping and crushing to ends.
