About This Item

Baton Rouge: Louisiana State University Press, 1979. First edition. Hardcover. Hardcover. First edition. A near fine book in a very good dust jacket. The author's first book. Bumping to the foot of the book. Closed tear at the top of the front pane of the jacket and wear at the foot of the dj that has been repaired. Light toning to the rear panel. Signed and dated on the title page. Baca endured a tough childhood growing up in Santa Fe, NM and wound up in prison where he wrote most of these poems. He has since produced more than a half dozen poetry collections and has several screen writing credits.
