Blue coloured endpapers. Text is illustrated by 60 coloured paintings by Dacre Smyth. Blue coloured boards with gilt coloured titles to the backstrip. Illustrated dustwrapper, showing the ship Alexander, of the First Fleet, 1787. White coloured titles to the front panel and blue-and-white coloured titles to the backstrip. The author has painted some of the significant ships that had sailed to Australia with new immigrants  both voluntary and involuntary. Starting with the First Fleet and ending with the Vietnamese Boat People boats. Signed by the author on the title page. nice clean copy, no damage to describe of the dust jacket, or of the book.
