London: Charles Whittingham & Co. At The Chiswick Press. VG. 1908. 1st Edition. Hardcover. First edition bound in tan buckram and cloth with gold lettering. 269 items with illustrations on 162 plates. 12 1/2" X 16 1/2", 136 page ca talogue of plates with Index and 162 plates at rear. A Very Good ex-co llege library copy with minimal markings. The cloth binding has been r einforced with brown cloth tape along the spine seams. Both of the spi ne spine tips are frayed. Rubs and small bumps to the corners. The bas e of the spine has a shallow chip. Memorial bookplate on the front end paper. Both the front and rear inner hinges have been reinforced with hinge tape. Small "withdrawn" stamp with a tiny hole on the front fly leaf. There is a small blind stamp on the title page. Solid, clean cop y of this massive book.
