Clean and unmarked text; sound binding. Former owner's signature on pastedown; edges a bit dusty; fading to head of spine; rear board has small pieces of the jacket stuck on it. The DJ chipped at spine ends and corners; faded; shallow loss along edges and spine folds; some staining visible to the blank side and mild paper loss to blank side of rear panel. No odors. DJ in mylar. Despite all of the faults the book is actually quite readable, presentable and attractive. Surprisingly uncommon. Autobiography of Hogg, a British adventurer who inserted himself into the Chinese guerilla side fighting the Japanese Imperialists. First hand account of the Chinese Industrial Cooperatives.
