Hardcover is very clean, with minimal edge and corner wear, slight soiling to outer edge of pages. Pages clean and intact other than first blank enpage has pencilled name/date and small tear at the bottom. Illustrated. Dustjacket is bright and clean on the front, some scuffing/soiling to rear, a few small edge tears and chips, not price clipped. When Commander Pilchard lent Frank and John his hut in a lonely part of the Cheviot Hills for their holiday, he asked them to keep him informed about anything out-of-the-ordinary that they might see happening.
