The cloth is somewhat dust-toned as with age, with some rubbing and light wear evident around the panel edges. New endpapers. Some marginal dust marks evident internally, otherwise very bright and clean. Remains quite well-preserved overall; tight and strong. Further scans, images etc. and additional bibliographical material available on request.; 8vo 8"" - 9"" tall; 83 pages; 1st edition, 1st printing. With ""baker"" not ""butcher"" on p.83. Synopsis
If-and the thing is wildly possible-the charge of writing nonsense were ever brought against the author of this brief but instructive poem, it would be based, I feel convinced, on the line (in p.4)
