SIGNED BY TOM CLANCY on the half-title page as Follows: "To Rick, Respects to a Subdrum. Tom Clancy 10/27/1984". (Naval Institute Press, 1984) Note that the signature, and the inscription (which is amazing that he signed it to a "subdrum" or navy slang for submariner), was dated 26 days after the October 1st publication date!!! A really sweet top of the line copy of this book and signed and dated in the month of publication no less. What a find. And I'm not going to price it where the other guys will price it, so get it while you can. This is your forever copy.

All first edition points are present on this copy, as displayed in the picture of the actual book. 16 lines, 6 blurbs, ISBN number on the rear board, no price etc... Book in VG+ with just minor shelfwear. Jacket in VG+ with the smallest of abrasions on the front bottom panel, near the spine, which is pictured. Trivial as overall the jacket is very sharp and presents perfectly.

All First printing points present. Full red cloth boards are Fine, Very clean, sharp corners. Spine is Fine, silver lettering in perfect condition! No creasing. Pages are very white, no writing, no folding, binding is VERY tight. Page edges are Very Clean!
