Very Good in rubbed folder. 4to. profusely illustrated Very scarce collection of 53 illustrated folios showing examples of Russian classical household furniture from the late 18th-early 19th centuries; each folio giving the name and period of the relevant item, for instance No. 1 'Red Woodchair late 18th Century', followed by a photo illustration of the item accompanied by technical drawings giving dimensions and details; also includes a stapled booklet with text by L.Z. Cherikover; Please Note: text is in Russian (Cyrillic) with no English translation, all details given here are courtesy of a certified Russian translator; titling states that the main objective of the album is to familiarize architects, artists, and students of art and industrial educational institutions with the best progressive artistic traditions laid down in the furniture of Russian classicism; publisher is given as State Publishing House of Literature on Construction and Architecture (editor A.Z. Gimpelson), but mentioned also is the Academy of Architecture of the USSR Department of the Art Industry and Interior; the folios are presented in a folder with printed cloth spine and cream boards with titling embossed to front; folios with occasional mild toning, o.w. Very Good tight and clean; printed booklet with 'Printed in USSR' stamp to front, wraps a little rubbed, o.w. Very Good throughout; folder fairly heavily rubbed and with some stains to front and rear.
