Slight cracking to gutters causing binding to be loose, however pages remain attached. Pages and plates have light tanning and foxing throughout. Heavier to endpapers and pastedowns. Previous owner's inscriptions to front pastedown and endpaper. Boards have light shelf-wear with corner bumping. Light tanning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Staining to both boards.

Pages are moderately tanned and thumbed at the edges, with moderate foxing. Binding has remained firm. Pencil marks to pastedown and endpaper. Boards have been moderately rub worn. Noticeable shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are bumped and a little frayed Spine ends are crushed, with small splits and chips. Tanning to spine and edges. Boards are bowed. Book has a forward lean. Water marks to boards and spine.
