New York: Harper & Brothers, 1887. Hardcover. GOOD. 8vo. Covers are faded and spotted, with a faint cup ring on front. Wear to head and tail of spine. Two pages have tears repaired with archival tape. Hinges are cracked but still tight. Faint owner stamps to lower edge of title page. Cuttings from a contemporary magazine article on Leaping by the same author have been pasted on to rear blank pages. Cuttings include illustrations by the same illustrator. 160 pages. Blue/grey cloth with gilt titles on cover and spine. Primarily a treatise on riding sidesaddle. B&W illustrations, index. -- Please feel free to ask for additional information, or detailed photos.
