The Spectator says: "Plain, well-arranged directions to the student in horsemanship, from mounting up to hunting, and to buying or breaking-in a horse. Every page shows the experienced horseman, who handles nothing but what is actually necessary, and to attain that disregards repetition or minuteness." A bit of cosmetic touch-up to the corners, a few pages lightly soiled and some with light foxing, else a very good copy of an elusive title housed in a cloth slipcase with a leather label on the spine and titles stamped in gold.
