About This Item

New York, New York: Clarkson Potter Publishers, 1997. First Edition. . Hardcover. Very Good+/Very Good +. Photography By Kelly Bugden. VG+/VG+/1st ed.. A Pristine copy of Hoppin John's more sophisticated cookbooks. Charleston, Savannah and Beaufort are considered the regal old ladies of the Coastal Deep South(think New Orleans only a lot more proper). These are definitely "best china" lowcountry dishes. 175 pages with many beautiful color photos, each city is represented. Section on Condiments, Sources, Index and a Conversion Chart. Speaking of New Orleans; did you know that a lot of the rice recipes made famous in New Orleans actually originated in the Lowcountry? Well, my dear ! Both Book and Jacket are clean and show no wear. Dust Jacket is price clipped, but the jacket has no nicks or tears and great even color. Book has inscription to previous owner on front free endpaper. No other marks or soiling in book.. First Edition, first printing... Jacket is covered with a mylar sleeve. Comes to you in an acid free document bag for storage. I can have it in the mail tomorrw. BKRM
