Front and back pastedown and first free endpage are lightly foxed. Bookseller's notation in pencil on last free endpage. Binding is tight and square, pages are clean. . Stated first edition. Biography of Riley, the "Hoosier author, " intended for young readers. Limited "Greenfield" edition, Greenfield, Indiana being the birthplace of Riley. SIGNED and INSCRIBED by Minnie Belle Mitchell, "Very sincerely, Minnie Belle Mitchell ". This copy is VG+ in a VG DJ. Exterior is bright and clean with only a hint of edge wear. Inside is unmarked, clear, and tightly bound. Toning to EPs where DJ did not cover. Text block is minimally/evenly age toned. Price clipped DJ has pictorial yellow/green/black decorations with black and yellow tiles. Very modest edge wear to DJ. Very nice !.
