About This Item

Americus, Georgia: Printed By Gammage Print Shop, 1932. Soft cover. Very Good+/No Jacket. VG+ This is a political handout for Charles R. Crisp who unsucessfully ran for the Senate in 1932. Crisp was a U.S. Representative in the Fifty-fourth Congress to fill the vacancy caused by the death of his father from December 1896 to March of 1895. He then went on to practicing law in Americus, Georgia, and returned to the House of Representives in the Sixty-second Congress as Parliamentarian of the Democratic National Convention in 1912. He was elected to Congress ten times from March 1913 to October 1932. This two page tract is in excellent condition, with a couple of spots of foxing on front , a couple of spots on the back, a cryptic "876" printed at the bottom of the back cover and a wrinkle across the top of tract. Very clean and comes in a non acid document bag.
