Waybill with packages from six customers shipped on July 13, 1906 from Holbrook to Fort Apache and signed for by John L. Fish, a prominent Mormon leader who had become Postmaster of Lakeside [the last stop on the Southern route before Fort Apache] on June 7, 1906 [Arizona "X" Marks the Spot, p. 353] although earlier Will C. Barnes has placed the date as October, 1906. Besides serving the Lakeland Community as Justice of the Peace, Postmaster, Water Master, and Health Officer, he was the long term Bishop of the Lakeside Ward. Item also shipped to Dena Hulet of Snowflake on her account noted as "D.H.
