The 13th Hussars, a British army cavalry regiment, was established in 1715, amalgamating with the 18th Royal Hussars in 1922. It saw action in many clnfilicts including the Crimean War, the Siege of Sevastopol, the battle of Waterloo, the Second Boer War, and many others. ... ... ... ... ... Originally known as Munden's Dragoons, the 13th was active in the Jacobite rebellions of 1715 and 1745, Waterloo (1815), the Crimean War and the Boer War (1899-1902).
