In two volumes. 312 and 391pp. volume I covers "The Years of Innovation", covering the story of US electronic warfare from its beginnings until 1945. It includes much unpublished material.. Volume II "The Renaissance Years" continues the story from 1946 to 1964. Here the issues of the Cold War traces the various techniques of radar jamming, intelligence, and has penetrated areas after the declassification of many World War II documents. Both of these copies were given to General O'Shaughessey by D.A.K. Proctore, President of the association of Old Crows. With publisher's note laid into both volumes from the Association of Old Crows on their stationary to General O'Shaughnessy. Terrence John O'Shaughnessy was a United States Air Force four-star general who served as the commander of the United States Northern Command and commander of the North American Aerospace Defense Command. Bound in blue cloth lettered in gilt, spines gilt, volume I with a few corners bent else both are near fine in near fine dust jackets.
