Publisher's binding of blue cloth (not in Blanck), with gilt-stamped title within a double-rule rectangle and an armorial device on spines. The spines of all three volumes are lightly sunned. Books display no previous signs of ownership with many pages still unopened. An excellent well preserved set of the British issue (first published earlier in the year in America). The book includes a map of present-day Hungary, and surrounding area as it was in 1200CE. The book was originally written in Latin around 1200 and was first translated into Hungarian about 500 years later. This is a very good or better copy with light edge wear on the jacket, and light shelf wear on the boards.
